I suggest to moderate the list for non subscribers. This wouldn't mean
than anyone cannot post a comment but only that if someone who hasn't
subscribed wants to post, his/her post will need to be approved by a
moderator who will check this isn't spam before reaching the list.

This is usually sufficient to block most (if not all) the spam.

What do you think?
