Dear Alex,
Here are some comments
== In 5.1.1 XPath expressions ==
— document (W3C XSLT 1.0, section 12.1)
--> Ok for this one
— format-number (W3C XSLT 1.0, section 12.3)
--> Ok for this one
— current (W3C XSLT 1.0, section 12.4)
--> Do we really need it since we can bind "." to a variable ?
— function-available (W3C XSLT 1.0, section 15)
--> I can imagine what the behaviour is but, please detailled it in a note(
— element-available (W3C XSLT 1.0, section 15)
--> I can't clearly see if it applies to DTLL element or
extension-definition-element ?
== And the end of page 10 ==
(?'year'?[0-9]{4})-(?'month'[0-9]{2})-(?'day'[0-9]{2})
What do mean the second "?" just before "[0-9]{4}" ? is it a typo ?
== Matching multiple ==
What does it mean to have "(?'month'[0-9]{2})*" --> does it imply that the
last
value is binded to the variable ? is it an error ?
== In 9.4.2.2 Lists ==
It should be added something about regex clash (i.e. when the separator
regex is in concurrence with the datatype regex) which could be a simple
note or warning
== Profiles ==
Could we defined two profiles :
a) one with XPath 1.0
b) one with XPath 2.0 and Functions & Operator

Mohamed Zergaoui
