[dsdl-discuss] Planning ahead for the May SC34/WG1/DSDL meeting

Hello all DSDL'ers,

Planning ahead for the upcoming meeting, we have the afternoon of May 18
and, if things need to be extended (though no formal reservations have been
made at this time), all of May 19 to work on document drafting and other ad
hoc discussions resulting from May 18.

As far as I know, not everyone interested in DSDL is yet subscribed to the
DSDL-discuss@dsdl.org list, nor accessed the new http://wiki.dsdl.org site
where we can experiment with collaborative discussion. The
username/password is dsdl/mersedia for the discussion archives and the
wikiwiki site. It isn't very active yet, but I suspect that is just
because people aren't aware of it.

One of the collaborative discussions is whether or not our WG1/DSDL project
work should be private or public ... opinions on both answers have been
expressed.

A separate DSDL-comment@dsdl.org list is available for public comment.

Please let me know what you would like to see on the agenda for the DSDL
project work in Barcelona. I'm hoping to leave the meeting with objectives
and plans for each of the document parts and assignment of "ownership" of
each part.
