I emailed with CAM's David Webber yesterday. They are only up to
preparing version 0.13, and I don't think there is an implementation ready
yet. CAM might indeed be good, but I think it is too early for them.
Also, I have been emailing with the developer of DSD2 Anders Moeller
on where DSD2 could fit in with DSDL.
I imagine the advice for anyone with a technology they are interested in
contributing is:
* get some contacts at SC4 and participate;
* get an implementation out (pref. freely available) and usage experience
or a user base;
* express why the technology does not largely duplicate what another
schema language does or why it has some important performance/technical
advantage.
Does that sound about right?
Cheers

I do not see strong reasons to discuss about this, and I see a
lot of other things to do about Parts 4, 1, and 0. Unless some
national member body submits a proposal, I do not think that
it is a clever use of our time to discuss about CAM in the next
meeting.
