[dsdl-discuss] Concurrent (overlapping) structures

Concurrent (overlapping) structures happen and need processing in many
(most?) publishing applications.

With DSDL as it's currently envisaged, we seem to be producing something
that will be less sophisticated than SGML in this respect...

Has anybody any idea about how DSDL might address validation of
concurrent/overlapping structures?

(Maybe there's a 'marketing' issue here too. If DSDL is to be taken-up en
masse then it needs to be more than just a Betamax version of XML Schema -
and having clear extra functionality is a good way to differentiate it.)

- Alex.
