Yes, it's one of the many projects I am following as a lurker too :-) ...

I'd like to remind, though, one of the rules we've adopted for XML which
is that DSDL is working on the XML infoset. That means that unfortunately
for the issue of concurrent structures, I don't think we can do better
than finding ways to make the workarounds easier to develop and maintain.
One thing we couldn't so for instance, is to decide that we would support
the LMNL data model (except of course if we accepted to formalize it as a
XML infoset).
