[dsdl-discuss] User Requirements for ISO DSDL

The UK standards committee BSI IST/41 has asked me to prepare an up to
date account of user requirements for ISO DSDL, the ISO standard under
development for XML schema languages, to be discussed at the next UK
meeting and submitted in due course to ISO/IEC SC34/WG1.

I will be soliciting input from the UK user community including in
particular UK government usage of schemas.

I would also value input from this list, to give a broader perspective -
and this is your invitation to contribute. I am aiming to have a first
cut ready for the Extreme Markup Langauges conference early in August,
for peer-group comment, so please reply sooner rather than later.
