[dsdl-discuss] First draft of Part 7

Dear dsdlers,
 
I'm very sorry it took me almost two years to finish a first draft of part 7 of DSDL, character validation and extension. Despite of the long time it took me to produce something, it is not the well thought and carefully proofed final thing that you might expect. I'm sorry, I started too late.
 
In summary it describes three elements: CharProp, NamedCharSet en RestrictCharSet. They can be used to specify properties of a character, some of which may be used to select characters in specifying a named character set, to which a part of a document can be restricted.
 
The draft lacks uniformity in terms etc; definitions and references are not yet provided, and it surely lacks examples, but I would appreciate some comments on the general direction of thought before working further.
 
I'm looking forward for any comments.
