[dsdl-discuss] Re: Patent problem?

Today, the Japanese committee for SC 34 had a meeting.
People are concerned about the patent issue. Furthermore,
the Japanese committee for JTC1 will care a lot.

Rick, in the upcoming CD, please mention the patent issue.
This is required by 2.14 of ISO/IEC directives, Part 1.
(Yes, this document does not apply to JTC1. But JTC1
directives (4th edition) reference to Part 2 of ISO/IEC directives,
which in turn references to Part 1.)
