Many thanks for promising to have a draft ready for Amsterdam, though the
late delivery will make it impossible to gather representative national body
comment at the meeting. I can, at least, promise an edit to improve the
English.

I, personally, see not problems with adopting XML 1.1, namespaces 1.1 and
XPath 2.0, but only if the whole range of "improved specs" is adopted. I see
problems arising is we try to say XML 1.1 can be used, but we will only
support XSLT 1.0, XPath 1.0, etc, as I feel that in that way we will not
support new functionality fully.
