Apart from the JTC1 Directives, you may also find JTC1 N6747 useful, as this
highlights the key differences between JTC1 procedures and those specified
in ISO/IEC Directives Part 1. In particular it highlights differences in the
standards development stages on pages 3 and 4.

In case you're concerned that N6747 may not be current, it has just been
circulated with the text of the 5th edition of the JTC1 Directives to IEC
SMB members, with the recommendation to approve them in their current form.
