Agreed!

Speaking for myself and not in my role as Secretariat, do we need to do
this? The CD for the amendment project for the compact syntax is currently
being voted on, so is already well into the standardization process.

Could we have both instead of just the markup form? I much prefer
"reading" the compact form.
