Oh, I don't have much time for the full XML form either. "All structure
in XML" is appropriate "under the hood" not "in your face", speaking as
a human! So if the compact syntax will be available in time for
whenever we need it, I would be *very* happy to support that. For
brevity, I don't see any need to
have the full XML syntax if we have the compact syntax. The CD only has
about 20 normative pages, and going to full XML syntax is likely to
increase that, and it seems a little grand for a small language like
Schematron to require more than a modest-sized specification.
