Hi,
End of September, my servers have been compromised and I had to
reinstall them from scratch.
I have focused on bringing back online the resources that were most
urgent (in our case, the web site http://dsdl.org and the mailing lists)
and I am now pursuing with the other resources that I had considered low
priority.
I'd like to propose to replace our old CVS repository by a brand new
subversion repository and the result of the migration is available at
http://svn.dsdl.org/ and I have restored our mail archives at their
usual location http://lists.dsdl.org/.
For these two resources, I propose to apply what we had decided a while
ago, ie to make them publicly readable. Of course, commits to the
subversion repository (http://svn.dsdl.org/repository/) are password
protected.
If you strongly disagree, please shout and I'll restore the user/passwd
protection that we had in the past.
Concerning the Wiki and the IRC channel and gateway, given their very
limited usage, I am wondering if it's worth to reinstall them. If you
feel that these resources are useful, I'll restore them with pleasure,
please just tell me if that's the case.
Thanks,
Eric
