Sorry, but I don't have time to read through everything before your deadline
(I was away over Christmas) but here are some comments on the Foreword and
main clauses:

Foreword
The correct title for Part 7 is Character repertoire description language -
CRDL and for Part 8 the correct title is Document schema renaming language -
DSRL

3.5
Delete final period (this is the only entry with a period at the end of it)

5.1
It might be useful to create a new second paragraph to explain what Clauses
6 to 9 are about.
In the fifth paragraph delete the space immediatately preceding the first
period.

6.1
The productions in this clause should be in clause 6.2 (where you refer to
"the following RELAX NG schema", though see note below. The comment reading
"#reject having mode is meaningless?" should be removed. The first two lines
of comment associated with the definition of schemaType should have a space
after the #. The definition of mediaType needs a space after xsd:string. The
definition of path should a) have a blank line preceding it and b) have
"xsd:string {pattern" on the same line so that it has the same format as
mediaType.
At the end of the second sentence add "described in section 6.2". Change the
start of the third sentence from "Meanwhile, the simple syntax is purely an
internal artifact" to "The simple syntax described in section 6.3 is used".

Question: Is it correct ISO house style to refer to things with one number
as clauses and things with multiple numbers as clauses, as you do in the
NVDL specification, or should they all be flagged as clauses?

6.3
The first two lines of comment associated with the definition of schemaType
should have a space after the #. The definition of mediaType needs a space
after xsd:string. The definition of path should a) have a blank line
preceding it and b) have "xsd:string {pattern" on the same line so that it
has the same format as mediaType. There is much too much space at the end of
this section.

6.4.10
In the second paragraph, in three places, an extraneous space has been put
immediately after the word attach, immediately precding a comma.

6.4.13
In two places in the third paragraphn change "(resp." to "(and"
In Case 3 add a space between "and" and "ns2" and correct the spelling of
"character"

NB I, for one, cannot make sense of Cases 3, 4 or 5 of 6.4.13.

6.4.15
Change "element. Its" to "element whose" in first paragraph
In final NOTE change "the semantics" to "their semantics"

7.2 Example 1 and Example 2
Change, in both examples, "in 5.2" to "in section 5.2" to be consistent with
earlier references to this level of object (or remove all preceding and
following references to section)

7.3
Change "andthe" to "and the"

7.6
Change "denoted" to "referred to as a"

7.7
Change "denoted" to "referred to as a"
Change NOTE to Editor's Note to make it clear that this is an outstanding
issue rather than a part of the text. (Use the element <ed> rather than
<note> to identify paras that contain unanswered questions.)

8.2
Change first sentence to read "NVDL defines the following functions and
predicates:"
NB I do not understand the final sentence of teh definition of
match(nsValue, wc,uri)
In Case 2 for matchElemSec remove the space between the apostrophe and the
comma preceding "uri)"

8.6
In the definition of X I am unclear what the OR symbol (|) is doing here

8.7
In second para remove the space preceding the comma after attribute
In the third para change "references" to "refers"
In the second list item there are two spaces missing in the first piece of
parenthesized text

9
What is the difference between the two URLs listed?

As a general comment on formatting, all list items have one line too much
space after them.

Wishing you a happy and productive New Year.

Martin
