[dsdl-discuss] Validation Management in Cocoon

Finally found time to look at Cocoon

The attached document shows the sort of level of information that I think we
need to include if we are to propose to use an existing pipelining language
for Validation Management. For this first draft of the idea we need to
provide:

a) an overview of the functions provided by the language
b) a critique of the language, particularly identifying any non-declarative
functions
c) a statement of which bits of the language are specifically relevant for
validation management
d) a coded example showing how the sample scenario might be implemented in
the language

I look forward to having others submit similar fragments this month so that
I can incorporate them into a single document for circulation by Easter (so
you all get time to review and comment on the document before we discuss it
in Amsterdam on Monday 23rd May.
