Please find attached the final agenda for our meeting the weekend after
next.
Murata-san, I have not forgotten the three items you mentioned in the email
copied below, but without documents submitted for review prior to the
meeting it is impossible to state that these will be discussed at the
meeting. If you have something for us to review *before* we leave head for
Atlanta we will try to add them to the agenda, but documents submitted at
meetings cannot be considered as agenda items for the meeting.
Francis, the same goes for your promised update of Part 9. It can only be
discussed if we have time to review its contents before the meeting starts.
John, your proposed position paper should also be submitted to the group
before the meeting. If you have not registered as a member of the DSDL
discussion group yet then send the paper to me and I will post it from here.
All: Please bear in mind I am bending the ISO rules if I accept any
documents submitted for review less than 4 weeks before the meeting. My
personal position is that 4 days should be the minimum allowed for initial
review of last minute input, just so that those who cannot attend the
meeting have a chance to chip in before I leave for Atlanta. Any comments
received by 12 noon on Thursday 10th November on published documents will be
considered in Atlanta. (Any comments received after that will almost
certainly be ignored by your jet-lagged convenor!) That gives you until
Sunday lunchtime to get anything you want to discuss on the table.
Martin
