from other peoples' :-( We decided against it: xinclude is different from
xsd:include/import/redefine is different from relax:include is different
from
schematron:include because the things being included (and the scope and
visibility of
included things) are different and schema-language specific.

So I tend to think that each language having a different include with
specific semantics is
a good and necessary thing.
