No real advantage meeting beforehand if we've discussed everything by email
before coming, as we normally do. The plenary gives us a chance to work out
what national bodies (and even ISO) are expecting of us. I suspect a certain
recently approved ECMA specification you will have read about in your daily
paper might take up a little time. Getting a plenary view before we start
our own meeting might help WG1 to concentrate on its own standards, given
that we are likely to have some new members turning up in Oslo. :-)
