Folks,

For some reason, the Japanese vote did not appear to reach the SC34
secretariat. But Japan intended to vote uncoditional no. Here
is the vote.

__X__

Japan's Comments on SC34 N862: Document Schema Definition Languages (DSDL) - Part 6:
Path-based integrity constraints
Japan believes that STX is not a schema language and it is thus outside the scope
of the DSDL project.
Japan would like to suggest the following four possibilities:
- Start a NP for STX as a stream-based XML transformation language.
- Create an working draft for STXPath as a part of DSDL.
- Extend Schematron so that STXPath can be used as a query language of Schematron.
- Create an identity constraint language that can be implemented via the translation
to STX. Note that Schematron is implemented via the translation from
Schematron to XSLT.
