Dear DSDLers,

We have to defend our projects again. DSDL Parts 6 and 10 are
particularly in danger.

Cheers,
Makoto

Subject: Target dates of WG 1 and WG 3 projects

----
Dear Murata san and Patrick
At the last SC 34 Kyoto plenary, SC 34 updated the target dates of all
the active projects. However, I have found that it was not sufficient. A
number of WG 1 and WG 3 projects have already exceeded the limit dates
of the development timeframe defined in the JTC 1 directives 6.3.1.2 and
in order to extend the limit dates recorded on the ISO database, SC 34
needs to obtain approval of JTC 1 by submitting rationale for the
extension. Otherwise the projects will be cancelled and deleted from
the ISO database.
I would appreciate that WG 1 and WG 3 Conveners (together with editors)
prepare the rationale for each project for approval by SC 34 during the
respective WG meetings.
The following projects need extension of the limit dates. I attach the
programme of work of SC 34 on the ISO database. (Note that there are
some differences in development stages between JTC 1 and ISO.)
WG 1
19757-1
19757-5
19757-6
19757-8
19757-9
19757-10
WG 3
13250-1
13250-4
13250-5
13250-6
13250-7
18048
19756
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Toshiko Kimura
