[dsdl-discuss] MIME media types

 We have had requests for MIME media types for DSDL.

The current situation as I understand it is

 * All XML-based schemas and scripts use application/xml
 * RELAX NG compact syntax uses application/relax-ng-compact-syntax

I don't see any downside to having MIME media types for DSDL schemas and
scripts.

Asuming we adopt the "+xml" convention, I suggest the following

  application/iso-relax-ng+xml
  application/iso-schematron+xml
  application/iso-nvdl+xml
  application/iso-charrep+xml
  application/iso-dsrl+xml

Though the following might be considered

  application/relax-ng+xml
  application/schematron+xml
  application/nvdl+xml
  application/charrep+xml
  application/dsrl+xml

or

  application/iso-dsdl-relax-ng+xml
  application/iso-dsdl-schematron+xml
  application/iso-dsdl-nvdl+xml
  application/iso-dsdl-charrep+xml
  application/iso-dsdl-dsrl+xml

I might say that actually, Schematron could also be in the text/*
registration tree! :-)
