Users reported an odd bug today.
They had a Schematron1.6 script running (in Ant, from Eclipse, using JRE
1.4.2 libraries) which worked fine. Moving to a JRE 1.5 or 1.6 an
error was reported which I traced to some issue that the first sch:ns
element was not being generated in the metastylesheet: the result was
that when the metastylesheet was loaded, a "Namespace not declared"
error was generated when an XPath using that prefix occured.
We worked around the problem by moving to ISO Schematron and SAXON.
Has anyone seen this problem before? If it is a problem we fixed in the
ISO skeleton then I should port it back to the 1.6 skeleton. If it is a
new problem, it could affect iso_skeleton too.
Cheers
